Hello, I am the wife of Col. Jim Trogdon from the 105th Engineers currently serving in Iraq. He had the wonderful opportunity to meet David and spoke highly of him as a soldier and person. Upon hearing of his injuries, he contacted me immediately to raise money. I have raised some money locally, which I would like to forward to you. If you feel comfortable, please send your mailing address so that we can forward it to you with a list of those who contributed. Your family is in our prayers every day and we wish you all the best. We thank you for your great sacrifice and tremendous service and dedication to our country. Respectfully, Karen Trogdon

All of us in Iraq are praying for SGT (P) Dave Gardner and his family. I am his company commander and am so sorry that this happened to this fine American Hero, and to the entire Gardner Family. The company is mourning the loss of our leader and our friend.
